When a mayor running for re-election is caught on video smoking crack, he'll do whatever it takes to keep it out of the wrong hands. Inspired by true events. It was written and directed by Andy King and is currently in post-production. The film was shot in Hamilton, Ontario in fall 2015. The film stars Pat Thornton, as Mayor Hogg. Cast also includes Melinda Shankar, Andy King, Danny Polishchuk, Melanie Nicholls-King, Lenno Britos, Michael Copeman, Brian Kaulback and Chris Locke. The film is scheduled to be released on Super Channel in 2016. The producers are also planning to format Filth City as a 12 part digital series. |
