Feedback Through A Magnifying Glass Volume I is a compilation album of various avant-garde and ambient artists. It was released on lossless compression digital audio format on November 27, 2018 by the Canadian independent record label Coup Sur Coup Records (CSCSPECIAL-003). The release features several established solo musicians, many noted for being members of prominent rock and metal bands. This includes Jeff Pinkus from rock bands Butthole Surfers and the Melvins, Kevin Hufnagel from death metal bands Dysrhythmia and Gorguts, and Jason Jouver from math rock band Don Caballero. Other noteworthy artists on the compilation include Jeff Pinkus' son, Jefferson Pinkus Jr., who appears under the alias Square Clouds, and prominent video game music artist Temp Sound Solutions' Shawn Phase. The compilation is mostly made up of exclusive and previously unreleased material and was compiled during the summer of 2018 by Coup Sur Coup Records founder Maxime Cayer.
