Production
Directed by Daniel Robert Cohn and produced by Randall Emmett (16 Blocks, , Narc) the film aired on UPN as a movie of the week in 2000. It was shot on location at the Kings Park Psychiatric Center in Long Island, New York. The movie is noteworthy for its portrayal of Christ as a black man. The film also features a cameo appearance by legendary comic Henny Youngman in his last movie role before he died. TV Guide called the film "a powerfully spiritual drama".

Plot
A mysterious mental patient claims to be the second coming of Jesus Christ and changes the life of a psychiatrist who has lost his faith.

Synopsis
Atheistic Psychiatrist Dr. John Harrington (Harry Hibbits), is intrigued by an unidentified African American patient (Keith Hamilton Cobb) who claims to be Jesus Christ. The Psychiatrist obsesses over proving to his patient and to himself that this man could not possibly be Christ, but begins to question his own belief structure. The Doctor becomes increasingly captivated by the patient's charismatic presence and soon discovers deeply suppressed secrets of his own.
