Exit Day of the Withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union also known simply as Exit Day or Brexit Day is the day which the United Kingdom (which also includes Gibraltar) will formally end its membership of the European Union which will take effect accordance with the outcome of the referendum result from 2016 at 23:00 GMT (00:00 CET) on Friday 31 January 2020 under the provisions of the after the previous dates of 29 March 2019, 12 April and 31 October 2019 each passed without the UK leaving the bloc.
