An even-numbered common year is a common year divisible by 2. The most recent such common year is 2018 and the next one will be 2022. With the exception of end of century years that are common years, the last occurrence of the first two months are 11 years before it and the last occurrence of the other months are 6 years before it, in a leap year. After the year ends, the first two months of the common year will occur again 6 years later in a leap year and the remaining 10 months will occur again 11 years later. For example, the first two months of 2018 occurred last in 2007 and will occur again in 2024. The last time the subsequent 10 months of 2018 occurred was in 2012 and they will occur again in 2029.
