Eva Volitzer

Eva Volitzer is a Bulgarian actress, singer, director, and a theater producer. She is professor at New Bulgarian University. She has more than 50 roles in various theaters such as the Ruse Drama Theater, the Sofia Traveler, the Tear and Laugh Theater, as well as international performances in Tel Aviv, Vienna, Riga, and United States. She has directed more than 20 performances with young actors. Sheis the founder and producer of Gallery Gallery.
Life
Eva Volitzer graduated from Krustyo Sarafov University of Applied Sciences with a degree in Acting, where she studied with Zhelcho Mandadzhiev and Krikor Azarian.
In 2017, she conducted an Actors' Master Class at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Cinema Institute.
In 2002-2003, she won a Fulbright Fellowship, where she taught acting at Pace University and did research on contemporary American theater.
In 1996, she released an album featuring 22 ancient Jewish songs on Ladino.
She is the author of the book "Ways to master Acting”, (2010).
She is currently Director of Private Theater Gallery, and Professor of Acting at New Bulgarian University.
