Ethan Wood

Ethan Samuel Wood (born 8 November 1997) is an American Indie-Electronica singer-songwriter, musician, YouTuber, animator, and producer. He was born in Seattle, Washington and raised in Chaing Mai, Thailand. He began his first YouTube channel in 2010 under the name, WoodeYman147 where he released Comedy Skits and Animations. In order to shift his focus to music, Wood created his current YouTube channel, Wooden Productions in 2013. He began work on an album titled Glowing Pains in early 2015, advertising it on his YouTube channel, but scrapped it later for unknown reasons. Following the cancellation of Glowing Pains, Wood began work on an instrumental EDM album, titled Straight from the Heart. This album was released to Wood's SoundCloud on August 8, 2016.
A Second Studio Album, Forward was released that same year on 8 November 2016 with the song "Goodbye" as its lead single.
Ethan Wood is half of the duo who host "the Outsocastial Podcast" alongside fellow YouTuber and childhood friend, HejotoBroto.
Personal life
Ethan Wood moved to Thailand with his parents and brother when he was 6 years old. After Graduating form Grace International School, he moved back to Seattle, where he currently resides.
He is of Swedish decent.
On 13 October 2016, King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand passed away. Because of his upbringing in Thailand, Wood released a cover of the Thai anthem, Sansoen Phra Barami as a memoir. The cover was received to critical acclaim from hundreds of Thai people, who thanked him for his respect to the Thai King.
