Ethan Cook (born 27 June 1991) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Penrith Panthers of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays lock, and . Playing career Born in Newcastle, New South Wales, Cook played his junior football for the Central Charkestown Butcher Boys before being signed by the Newcastle Knights. He played for the Knights' Toyota Cup team from 2009 to 2011. In the 2010 and 2011 seasons, Cook captained the side. At the end of 2010, Cook was named at lock in the 2010 Toyota Cup Team of the Year. In September 2012, Cook signed a 2-year contract with the Penrith Panthers starting in 2013 after failing to make first-grade at the Knights. He is yet to make an appearance in the Telstra Premiership. Representative career In 2008, Cook played for the Australian Schoolboys. In 2010, Cook played for the Junior Kangaroos against the Junior Kiwis.
