Essentia is a manufacturer and retailer of natural memory foam mattresses and pillows. The company was formed in May 2006 by Jack Dell'Accio in Montreal, Canada. Essentia's line of eco-friendly and healthy sleep products are the only biodegradable memory foam products in the world. With initiatives for the eco-conscious community such as discounts to hybrid vehicles owners, and offering discounts to the hospitality industry who are making efforts to go green, Essentia are among the leaders of the healthy sleep movement. Headquartered in Laval, Quebec Canada, Essentia operates both mall and standalone stores. Essentia is the first company in the world to create an "All-Natural sleeping surface". History Essentia was founded in 2006 by Jack Dell'Accio following several years of research and development by the parent company Verstile Inc. The result of many years of research is their patented Natural Memory Foam and patented Fusion Molded Core Technology a process that creates a zero emission product and does not have any adhesives or bonding agents. Current stock Currently Essentia offers two main branches of product: mattresses and support pillows, which are all made from their natural memory foam and natural latex. Mattresses are priced anywhere from $1200 to $4700 USD, pillows range from $99 - $199. Retail locations Essentia has retail locations in Santa Monica California, New York City, and in the provinces of Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.
