Erika Tazawa is a Japanese-born pianist. She performs as a soloist and in ensembles in addition to collaborative piano. Belarca Records released her solo album debut "Rhythm of Silence" in 2016 performing the music of Douwe Eisenga, Francesco Di Fiore, Marc Mellits, Matteo Sommacal and William Susman. In 2011, She appeared on the album Walimai with Jonathan Wintringham, saxophone, Michael Djupstrom, piano and Timothy McAllister, saxophone. She received a bachelors and masters degree in piano performance from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. She has appeared at the Hot Springs Music Festival and SongFest Los Angeles.
