Eric Marscheider (born January 5, 1993 in Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian soccer player who currently plays for the Houston Dynamo in Major League Soccer. Career High School Marscheider played three years of varsity soccer at Pine Creek High School. He was named to the Colorada Class 5A Metro first team his junior year . Marscheider was also named 2009 All-State honorable mention during his junior year. Professional On February 22, 2012, Marscheider was signed by the Houston Dynamo. Marscheider attended the 2012 InfoSport Pro Soccer Combine where he was scouted by Tim Hanley, goalkeeper coach for the Houston Dynamo. Personal Marscheider has one older brother and one older sister. He plays FIFA everyday and enjoys reading. His favorite movie is The Dark Knight. Marscheider admires Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas although he is a Barcelona FC supporter. |
