Erathia

Erathia (Kingdom of Erathia) - is an imaginary land, featured in two computer games: Heroes of Might and Magic III and Might and Magic VII: For Blood and Honor. Steadwick is the capital of Erathia. Among other important cities are Harmondale and Stone City. The last known leader of the country was General Morgan Kendal. According to the games, Erathia shares borders with Tatalia and Krewlod, Bracada, Eeofol, Deyja and AvLee (from west to north). The country also has access to the Eastern Sea. The island of Vori is located on the northeast, named after tribal snow elves, who lived there before.
Erathia was also mentioned in other games, such as Heroes of Might and Magic IV and Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven.
History
Long before the events of the first game series Heroes of Might and Magic, Empire of Bracaduun owned most of the Antagarich continent. Once the empire was attacked and eventually destroyed by barbarians under the leadership of Tarnum. A young knight, Rion Gryphonheart, founded Erathia on its ruins and built a fortress in which the few remaining residents of fallen empire could hide. He founded the Order of Knights and swore to protect the borders of a new nation under his flag. Several years later he led an army against bloodthirsty barbarian hordes. At the ruins of a remote village he saved a woman from ogres. Much later, it turned out that she was the long-lost sister of Tarnum. She gave birth to his only daughter. Ultimately, Rion killed Tarnum in a duel.
