Epidermic menace

Epidermic Menace is an augmented reality game created by the German Fraunhofer Society's Institute for Applied Information Technology (FIT) in its Integrated Project on Pervasive Games.
The game uses a form of combined reality and virtual reality, requiring players to physically run around in an area.
The area is virtually infected with oversized vira, which the players have to fight.

The game is notable for being one of the few recent attempts to create computer games that require physical involvement.
This can be both for increased entertainment, but also as an attempt to fight the increasing world obesity.
