The Enviro-babies are a group of cartoons established in 1996 by Aurora-Marie Dolopo Zhivago. Her characters are based on endangered, threatened and rare species of the world. There are a total of 9 original character species. The Baby Harp Seal, Giant Panda Bear Twins, Florida Manatee, Asian Elephant, Green Sea Turtle, Leatherback Sea Turtle, Hawaiian Monk Seal, and Emperor Penguin Chick. There are more character designs evolving every year. The Enviro-babies are mascots of each endangered, threatened, and rare species they represent. They help spread environmental awareness and education of endangered species. The Enviro-babies worked with Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute using facts and data from their scientists to promote the education and awareness of endangered, threatened and rare aquatic marine species worldwide. Enviro-Babies has brought to life human cartoon characters "Enviro-Friends" to interact with the animal mascots. Such as "The Sakura" and "Pride of Hawaii."
