Enrico Antiporda is a writer and a visual artist whose works have been exhibited at galleries and art shows in California. Antiporda grew up in Manila, Philippines and graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he went to Bilbao, Spain on an AIESEC internship (International Association of Students in Business and Economics), working as a trainee in Elloriagga Industria S.A. and Fabrelec S.A.. After his internship in Spain, he worked in the Treasurer's Department of Dole Food Company in San Francisco as a Cash Manager and as the Manager of Treasury and Accounting in Pacific Bell Directory. In 2000, Mr. Antiporda became a full-time visual artist and writer . His visual arts medium is acrylic with heavy influence from the French Fauve, pop art, and folk art. Being a colorist, he uses primary colors extensively, juxtaposing complementaries next to each other to make the work come alive. His multicultural novel The Band of Gypsies, a love story set in Bilbao, Spain was published in January, 2000.
