One of the outstanding attributes of the Enlightened Life Fellowship Church is that all Pastors, Clergy, Elders, Deacons, Secretaries, Music Ministers, Teachers, Spiritual Counselors, Reiki Masters, Iridologists, Aromatherapists, Meditation Teachers, Yoga Teachers, etc are volunteer positions. Not one individual is salaried or on a stipend of any kind. All donations that are given to the church are used exclusively for the support of the churches outreach ministries. Not one individual, including the founders/incorporating parties have a financial interest in the organization. Should the denomination, at some point in the future dissolve, it is set up in the articles of incorporation for all assets to be donated to the American Red Cross for their continued ministries. The denomination/church does not ask or require of any member weekly, monthly or yearly dues of any kind. The denomination/church relies on grants and goodwill/love donations for operation expenses and outreach expenses. The philosophy behind this is simple; Jesus wasn't paid a salary; Buddha wasn't paid a salary; Lao Tzu wasn't paid a salary. We are called into the ministry to serve. We are not called into the ministry to gain wealth. Our Pastors, ministers and staff all hold full time jobs or are retired and receive retirement income. No Pastor, minister or staff member is allowed to receive monetary gifts. We are here as servants. The , beliefs and principles of the denomination are: Statement of Belief, Faith and Principles We believe that every religion, philosophy and spiritual belief is a different path to the same God. We encourage the sharing of ideas, philosophies, opinions and faiths, so that in doing so we can inherit our own spiritual and tangible path. Wisdom from the world's religions which inspires us in our ethical and Spiritual life; spiritual beliefs, when used with scientific facts are the purest path to finding truth. Using spiritual teachings of ancient traditions and philosophies, which manifest in our daily lives to encourage honest, kind, brave and loving action in a modern world. All people are equal and deserve the same dignity, justice and respect; as part of the Universal Whole we need to look no further than within ourselves to find the Spiritual Essence of our Eternal Being. Each person has Spiritual Gifts; seeking, acknowledging and using these gifts allow a person to become whole and find eternal inner beauty, power and peace. We believe the Holy Bible, the Upanishads and the Tao te Ching teach the pathways to pure spiritual truth. We believe that all that all spiritualLiterature has merit and every individual has his/her right to choose their personal spiritual path. Principles: 1.)Life is meant to be joyous and abundant. 2.)Seek to do no harm, seek to promote kindness and love. 3.)Seeking a spiritual path is a lifelong process to happiness. 4.)Balancing fear and love is simply part of being alive. 5.)No person has power over another without their permission. 6.)Fear and Condemnation are a fool’s errand. 7.)Sin is an illusion for we are eternally forgiven. 8.)The power we seek is already present in our lives. 9.)Dissolving ones ego is the first step to joy. 10.)Forgiveness is essential in the pursuit of salvation. No matter who you are, you are welcome here. The denomination was formed from combining two philosophies.1.) and 2.) Universalism; after many years of planning and structuring to create a Christian/Multi-faith organization where all people could feel welcome and safe from harassment . The denomination is involved with community outreach, anti-bullying awareness and child abuse awareness. The main website for the denomination is http://www.enlightenedlifegfellowship.org.
