Emre Engin

Emre Engin, a Turkish Classical violinist who was born in 1991. He was one of the first violinists to be trained in the CAKA (Cihat Askin and the Little Friends) project.
After having graduated in 2014 from the Royal College of Music, Emre finished his master studies at the Manhattan School of Music Pinchas Zukerman Performance Programme with the generous support of CEV "Harika Yetenekler" Project and Talent Unlimited Foundation in 2016. Emre was the first Turkish violinist to enter this prestigious performance programme and to study with maestro Pinchas Zukerman.
Among the violin teachers with whom Emre has studied are Itzhak Rashkovsky, Cihat Askin, Laura Samuel and Patinka Kopec.
He has been performing with numerous orchestras and playing recitals in Turkey, Europe and the States.
Emre has been a faculty member at the Notes By the Bay Violin Festival in Cupertino since 2015.
