Emiliano Pagnotta

Emiliano Pagnotta joined New York University Stern School of Businessas an Assistant Professor of Finance in July 2009. His research interests "lie at the intersection of information economics and the empirical analysis of stock exchanges data, with a focus on high frequency trading dynamics".
Professor Pagnotta earned his B.A. in Economics from Buenos Aires University, Argentina, and his Ph.D. from the Economics Department at Northwestern University. He has been invited worldwide to give presentations in institutions such as Columbia University, INSEAD, MIT Sloan, University of Toronto. Federal Reserve, etc.
His Dissertation was titled Essays on Information and Trading in Financial Markets.
He wrote the book Dilemas De La Politica Comercial Externa Argentina("Dilemma of Argentina in International Trade") while in college as a research assistant.
