Emilia Dalby - British/Finland-Swedish Soprano Born London 1995. First performance in the presence of HRH Princess Anne and the British Olympic Sailing Team in 2004. Worked for four years as chorister at Salisbury Cathedral 2004-2008. Was described by Hello Magazine (Madrid) as "The New Classical Sensation". Recorded debut album in 2007 with The London Esterhazy Orchestra and is currently signed to Signum Classics. The album contains the only version of the Finlandia Hymn in Sibelius' mother tongue of Swedish and first recordings of settings of Ave Maria and God Be in my Head.
In 2008 Emilia Dalby again performed live before Royalty backed by the band of H.M.'s Royal Marines in a send-off for the British Olympic Sailing Team. At 13 Emilia Dalby is the youngest classical recording artist in Britain. Performances in 2008 include a fundraising concert in the Double Cube Room at Wilton House. http://www.emiliadalby.co.uk
