Emil Kalous

Ján Emil Kalous (born 1902, date of death unknown) was a Czechoslovak long-distance runner. He competed in the at the 1924 Summer Olympics.
Early in his career, Kalous was a member of the SK sports club. He finished runner-up at the Prague Marathon (actually a 43 km distance) on 18 July 1920. He posted top 5000 m and 10,000 m times in 1923 before being selected to represent Czechoslovakia at the 1924 Olympics, where he did not finish the marathon due to extreme hot weather. He also finished runner-up at the 1920 Prague Marathon.
He also played association football for Slavia Hradec Králové.
