The Embedded Parallel Operating System (EPOS) project is developed by the researchers team of the Software/Hardware Integration Lab - LISHA. The EPOS Project objective is automating the development of embedded systems allowing developers to focus on their applications. EPOS depends on the Application-Driven Embedded System Design (ADESD) program to conduct the development of software and hardware components that can be automatically adjusted to perform the demand of specific applications. In addition, EPOS presents mechanisms to select, adapt and plug components into an application-specific structure, making possible the automatic generation of application-specific embedded system. |
