Email to the Universe And Other Alterations of Consciousness is a 2005 collection of essays and short works by Robert Anton Wilson, self-described as a collection of “polemics, poems, neurolinguistic experiments and assorted meanderings”. It is the final work authored by Wilson that was published during his lifetime. It consists of a series of essays on subjects as diverse as quantum mechanics, LSD, magick, linguistics, death, sex and Wilson's description of his campaign to become governor of California (as the candidate of the Guns & Dope party). The book is divided into 4 parts prefaced by a brief introductory note from the author in which he states that the aim of the book is “change your way of perceiving/conceiving the world, without drugs or drums or Voodoo, simply by using words in certain special ways.”
