Elle Jauffret

Elle Jauffret is an American writer, particularly known as the author of the James Normal books, a middle-grade series about a 12-year-old boy who uses his wits to defeat mythology-inspired creatures.
Elle Jauffret was born and raised in Nice, France. She graduated from the University of Sophia Antipolis Law School (in Nice, France) and from the George Washington University Law School (Washington, D.C., USA). She is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
She represented the Embassy of France at one of the country’s largest performing arts festivals for children - Kids Euro Festival in Washington DC in 2009 and in 2010.<ref name="lajolla" />
