Elizabeth Spaulding (American executive)

Elizabeth Spaulding is an American executive and former CEO of online personal styling service Stitch fix. She replaced Katrina Lake as CEO in August 2021, but was unable to save the company from its downfall in 2022. She stepped down as CEO on 6 January 2023 while the company stock price was down over 96% from its peak prices.
Personal life
Elizabeth Spaulding was born in Chicago and is married with two children. She is currently living in San Francisco with her family.
Education
Spaulding received her bachelors at Stanford University in management and decision sciences (formerly Industrial Engineering) in 1998 and an MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2004.
Career
Prior to Stitch Fix, she was global head and founder of the digital practice at Bain & Company, where she was a partner and served on the board of directors. During this time she supported clients in digital transformations, with a particular focus on consumer and technology sectors, and led the firm’s efforts to continually evolve and grow new capabilities through partnerships and M&A.
She is on the board of Prealize Health (formerly Cardinal Analytx), a machine learning startup in the healthcare sector, focused on getting better care sooner to patients.
