Elizabeth Melendez

Elizabeth Melendez (born June 6, 1985) is an American actress and former model of Cuban and Uruguayan descent.
Background
Elizabeth Melendez was raised in St. Cloud, Florida. She was a quiet and good student, averaging over a 4.0. She was in chorus, band (drummer), and drama. After graduating, she moved on to work in graphic design and Internet technology while taking college classes. She also worked as a party emcee, musical theater performer, model, and did voice over to help supplement her income during college.
Career
She quit her day job to pursue modeling full-time but stopped modeling in 2005 to focus primarily on acting. In her modeling career, she was the spokesmodel for TrimSpa, before Anna Nicole Smith. She was in many magazines (Lowrider, Maxim, Car Craft, OYE, Stuff, Cosmo, etc.), catalogs, music videos, and commercials. She is most known for her role on the Q Television Network TV Show The Queer Edge with Jack E. Jett that aired 2005-2006 where starred in 78 episodes as the sexy and snotty Barbarella Diva. She also starred in the film 4 Card Studs directed by Roman Cortez from Seven Oh Five Films and released by Atom Films in 2007. She was voted "most evil female in a music video" or "Femme Fatale" at the Fangoria Awards in 2006 for Avenged Sevenfold's "Beast and the Harlot" where she played the Harlot.
