Sensei Elan Delfin (born September 15, 1974 in Bacolod City, Philippines) is a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karatedo from the Philippines, who held the title as one of the outstanding instructor in Philippine Karate Federation and award winning trainer/coach in the Visayas during the 2nd Philippine Olympic Festival National Championship in Manila. His team won numerous medals in PKF National Championship series and other athletic meet of different school in the Philippine.
Sensei Elan, is the co-coach of Randy Mengullo of the victorious JJS/Castleson Karatedo team, bannered the Negros Occidental Karatedo Federation in many out of town tournaments, triumphed in the age group kumite and kata in the 2nd Philippine Olympic Festival Visayas Championship in Iloilo City which boosted the team as overall champion in karatedo event but settled for two silver and two bronze medals in the POF national finals in ULTRA, Pasig City. He participated Philippine Karatedo Federation National Championships held in Batangas, Manila, Iloilo, Cebu City and Negros Occidental and snatched medals in kumite and kata events in the age group and Cadet division.
Sensei Elan bagged the 2008 NOPSSCEA karatedo championship tittle. He boosted JJS/Catleson's bid after claiming 2 golds in the high school boys category in kumite event and 9 golds in the in the 3rd UMA-ONEBA Presidential Cup Karatedo Competition and additional 11 golds in the Mayor Evelio Leonardia Cup children’s division as the co-coach of the team JJS.
Sensei Elan is currently teaching at Jack and Jill School City Heights and Victorias branch in Victorias City and the co-instructor of JJS Karate Dojo in Bacolod City. He entered JJS in the school year of 2002 and help organized karate as a sport and a regular subject in Physical Education class for the whole year activity.
