Elaine Caruana

Elaine Caruana was a Maltese famous model from Å»ejtun. She was born on Sunday, 20 January 1985 and she died in a traffic accident in 25th November Avenue (Å»ejtun) on Wednesday, 16 April 2008 at the age of 23.

Elaine took part in various modelling contests both on stage and on television. She was crowned as Ms. Å»ejtun in 2008.In the last few days of her life she was one of the main models for the program Looks on ONE TV, one of the main television stations in Malta. Elaine was in the process of competing as a model for Fashion TV.

Elaine Caruana was interested in modelling, beauty skills such as make-up and nail arts, photo modelling, fitness. She enjoyed listening to music and watching movies of different genres.

Her funeral was held on Friday 18 April 2008 at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish Church in Å»ejtun. Hundreds were present to mourn the young model. Elaine Caruana was laid to rest in Å»ejtun Cemetry.
