Eila Kaarresalo-Kasari

Ms. Eila Kaarresalo-Kasari was born in Finland. She lived 11 years in New York in the 1960’s and 1970’ and still spends three months every year in the city. She graduated with a B.A. from the City College of the City University of New York majoring in Film.
Eila has produced and directed several short films such as award winning ”Finnish Frustrations” (Ampumarata), which has been shown in most women’s film festivals around the world. She has also worked with many international film productions among others John Houston’s ”The Kremlin Letter” and Don Siegel’s ”Telefon”. She is included in the book ”Women Who Make Movies” (Hopkins and Blake, New York 1975).
In 1989 Eila started a new career in Finland as a lecturer on social skills and male- female relationships. Her specialities are also communication, tools for personal growth and international etiquette. She trains corporate employees by boosting their self-esteem and discovering their individual talents. She is a high voltage personal motivator, who is full of zest for life. Eila has done several radio and TV-appearances and been interviewed by all major Finnish newspapers.
Eila has been the President of the Ladies Club for the Finnish -American Society in Helsinki.
She is married to Dr. Heikki J. Kasari, Ph.D. and they have one daughter.
Her book SILMÄNISKU (WITH A WINK OF AN EYE) dealing with male-female relationships was published in Finland by WSOY,1998.
