Edward Mena

Edward Mena (born 15 April 1990) is an Award-Winning Venezuelan singer that currently lives in Miami, Florida.
He has shared the stage with many famous and international Latin artists such as Tania Libertad at the Mesa Arts Center in Phoenix, Arizona; with Paloma San Basilio, Luis Enrique, Ilan Chester, and others at the Bank United Center in Miami during the concert Venezuela Es Mucho Más, broadcast live by the Venezuelan National network Televen for the entire country. And has performed in other important stages, such as the James L. Knight Center, Littman Theater, Miami Dade County Auditorium next to Spanish star Pastora Soler and Cuban Diva Mirtha Medina, among other venues, and has worked and recorded with recognized Latin musicians including Latin Grammy Winner Ed Calle, saxophonist, and Latin Grammy Nominee Rolando Grooscors, guitarist.
On November 2009, wins the First Place of the Premio Estrella Music Award representing his country, with a song written for him by well-known Venezuelan composer Enrique Hidalgo, called Con Mi Joropo.
Later in 2011, he recorded the single Me Equivoqué Otra Vez by the hand of 2 time Grammy winner Cuban Producer Roberto Morales, written for him by respected Venezuelan singer/songwriter Trino Mora.
By 2014, he released his album México es una Canción (Mexico is a Song), a tribute to Mexican music and songwriters, promoting it in Miami with a sold out concert at the Teatro de Bellas Artes next to the Mariachi internacional, continuing to Chicago, New York City and Phoenix.
On July 25, 2015 Edward wins the Popularity Award at the Miami International Song Festival 2015, with his song Soy Latinoamericano (I'm Latin-American) composed by Venezuelan songwriter Henry Gonzalez.
In 2016, he starts working with 16-Time Grammy Award Winner producer Humberto Gatica and Latin Grammy Nominee engineer/mixer Martin Nessi on a single called Amor Absoluto, which is a Medley tribute to the music of Julio Iglesias, released on August 2016 under his label and management UNO Productions.
By 2017, this new single receives two awards, "Best Cover Song" by The Akademia Music Awards in Los Angeles, and Platinum Disc by the Latin-American Song Festival of California, during its 37th Edition, on the National Final in United States. Edward, is also given a Proclamation by the official Government of the city of Miami, and Mayor Tomás Regalado, to honor his outstanding career and achievements.
