Edit.app

Edit.app was the default text editor for the NeXTSTEP operating system. It was replaced in OPENSTEP (and Mac OS X) by TextEdit. Edit.app differs from TextEdit in having more developer-oriented features such as syntax coloring, code folding, and piping text selections to external scripts.
