E.B. Hughes

E.B. Hughes is an American Writer, Director.
E.B. (Eric) Hughes has written 22 screenplays to date, and has Written, Produced and Directed two short films A Distant Chord and Harsh Light and the documentary Once A Champion. His film Harsh Light won Top Prize at the Palm Springs International Film Festival the Long Island Film Festival, and was featured at the Euro-Underground Film Festival in Krakow and Munich. His screenplay "Life's Back Pocket" is a former winner of the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. He is currently at work directing his first feature-length film -"Turnabout" starring Denny Bess in NYC, with several other projects to follow. In the last 3 years, Hughes has sold two screenplays. His screenplay "Dark Intervals" was optioned by New York based Film Director, Joe Brewster ("The Killing Zone" & "The Keeper"). And in July, Jersey City based Other Side of the River Productions bought his screenplay -"The Messenger"...aka The Fallen Faithful which finished production in February in Tampa, Florida.
