Dwayne Kennedy is an American comedian, actor, and screenwriter from Chicago, Illinois. His comedy style is that of social commentary and satirical diversions. Most recently, he was awarded the Jury Award for best stand-up at the 2002 US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. His television appearances include The Late Show with David Letterman and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.. Last year, Dwayne starred in his own half-hour comedy special for Showtime.
An accomplished actor, Dwayne has made numerous guest appearances on television programs that include the hit series Seinfeld and Martin. Included among his many film credits are How High, Desperation Boulevard, Amy Stiller's Breast, and Talkin' Dirty After Dark. He also appeared on the fifth season of Last Comic Standing were he made it to the semifinals.
