Dustin Robbins

Dustin Robbins (born March 25, 1974) is a professional body piercer and body modification artist.
Education and Training
Dustin's fascination with body modification began as a teenager when he got his first piercing, after which he had many more experiences that eventually drove him to learn the art himself. In 1996, at the age of 22, he began his journey as a professional body piercer after traveling to San Francisco, CA to receive training at The Basic Body Piercing Intensive by Fakir Musafar, one of the world's most respected body modification artists.
In addition to education on body piercing and body modification, Dustin has also had CPR/First Aid Certified Training as well as Bloodborne Pathogens Certified Training. His work has also been documented by past clients on other social media sites, such as YouTube and been featured on BME News, a news blog that is aimed at the body modification community.
Since 2005, Dustin has pierced at Iris Piercing in Salt Lake City, UT, which he co-founded along with Jesse Dobbs and Nick Lott. The piercing studio, which is known for its use of freehand technique (piercing without clamps or forceps) and 100% disposable equipment, won "Utah's Best New Piercing Studio" in 2006 by City Weekly magazine, a local publication in Salt Lake City, UT.
Involvement in the Body Modification Community
Dustin has been member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) since 2006, and has attended several of the association's conferences. He is also a member of IAM.BME, an online community for those involved in the body modification community.
Other
Dustin was once briefly interviewed by a Salt Lake City magazine, The Catalyst, during participation in a meditation class at a Tibetan Buddhist temple in Salt Lake City, UT.
