DRXQUINNX (pronounced Dr. Quinn) (Born in Champaign, IL) is an American rapper and producer, as well as one-third member of the Midwest hip hop collective "Bullies" along side Detroit hip hop artist, Denmark Vessey and producer Azarias. DRXQUINNX's name is in referenced to the Adult Swim character Dr. Quinn from Sealab 2021. Career Growing up, Quinn indulged himself with influences such as Madlib, Kanye West, J Dilla, Ghostface Killah, Lupe Fiasco, and Mos Def, inspiring his production to grow into a heavy sampled based Drum n Bass & Jungle style. DRXQUINNX under his old pseudonym "i2k" teamed up with fellow Central Illinois MC, Grill Billyenz (fka MadC) to premiere their first debut record "eL. B's" released through ReSERVED Records in 2013. DRXQUINNX later pursued his solo career through ReSERVED and released two solo records: "The Gooch" on February 16, 2015, and "Bright Lights in LoFi" on August 12, 2016. in 2016 Quinn teamed up with Detroit Hip Hop artist Denmark Vessey and producer Azarias to create their highly anticipated 2017 release "Doppelganger".
