New York based, Dr. Samieh (Sam) Rizk, MD, is an American Board-certified facial plastic surgeon, who performs cosmetic surgery procedures, including rhinoplasty, revision rhinoplasty, facelift, and revision facelift surgery. Dr. Rizk introduced the use of high-definition telescopes in necklift surgery and was one of the first to use tissue glues in facelift surgery. This technique is explained in a chapter of his book, Tissue Glues in Cosmetic Surgery, as well as in an article published by Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery. This article was the very first to address the method involving analyzing hematoma rates in deep plane facelift surgery with drainless approach with tissue glue. Rizk's rhinoplasty and facelift techniques and innovations have been featured on numerous television programs in the United States, including Nightline (ABC), The Today Show (NBC), The Doctors Show (CBS), Dr. Oz, major news network programs. They have also been showcased on international programs, such as Telemundo and the Egyptian TV program, "Egypt Today.”
