Douglas Haddad
Douglas Michael Haddad (born December 14, 1976 in Waterbury, Connecticut) is an American author, inspirational speaker, actor and talk radio host. He represents the new wave of Internet radio hosts on the live365 network hosting “The Dr. Doug Show” on Quiet Time radio network. He co-authored a health and fitness book Top Ten Tips for Tip Top Shape. He provides fitness programs geared to specific lifestyle concerns and occupations. Haddad lectures at seminars, bookstores, libraries, schools and places of employment discussing his super health programs.
Haddad graduated from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in biology/secondary education and in 2000 with a master’s degree in biology. He graduated from Clayton College of Natural Health in 2005 and earned a Ph.D in natural health.
Haddad made his stage debut in A Christmas Carol as Young Ebenezer Scrooge in 2001 at the Warner Theater in Torrington, Connecticut and continued to perform in other stage acts. He has performed in dinner theatre shows across the northeast United States such as "[...] Mysteries" on Carnival Cruises and Camelot Cruises as various lead characters, and in Joey and Maria's Comedy Italian Wedding in Boston, Massachusetts and Hartford, Connecticut as the play’s master of ceremonies, Carmine Cannoli.
Haddad made his feature film debut in The Stepford Wives in 2004. He followed up this appearance with a leading role in the short film The Stuff, the Son in 2004 as Domenic and had multiple appearances on Nippon Television (NTV), Japanese TV.
Haddad lives in Los Angeles, California, with his wife.
