Donald Trump Prophecy

A list of Christian ministers who claimed that Donald J. Trump would be elected the 45th President of the United States of America. The most prominent of these claims was ' video which was posted on April 18, 2016 and watched over 1.2 million times before the election. Steve Cioccolanti is an Australian pastor of Discover Church. Several other Christians claimed to have known Mr. Trump would become President earlier, but their claims surfaced later.
To put these predictions in perspective, here were the representative headlines leading up to election day on November 8, 2016.
* Oct 20, 2016, The Telegraph: "Donald Trump blew perhaps his last chance to win the election."
* Oct 24, 2016, The Washington Post: "Donald Trump’s chances of winning are approaching zero."
* Nov 8, 2016, Australia's No. 1 news site news.com.au: "Why a Donald Trump win is impossible."
Below are the dates and names of Christians who predicted Mr. Trump would win the election, contrary to the majority of media commentators and polls suggesting Hillary Clinton would win up to the day of election:
* April 4, 2007, prophetic singer and worship leader Kim Clement claimed Donald Trump would become President. This video did not surface until November 2016, within days of the US election and of Clement's own passing on November 23, 2016. Clement prophesied: “Trump shall become a trumpet. I will raise up the Trump to become a Trumpet…The man that I place in the Highest Office shall go in whispering my name. But God said, when he enters into office, he will be shouting out by the power of the Spirit...For I shall fill him with My Spirit when he goes into office and there will be a praying man in the highest seat in your land. There will be a praying President, not a religious one. For I will fool the people, says the Lord…The one that is chosen shall go in and they shall say, ‘He has hot blood.’" In a earlier video dated January 14, 2006, Clement said of Hillary Clinton: "God said, 'I have already dealt with her heart, not to be President of this nation but to be President in a Christian world. She will have a testimony second to none and will eventually come out with it and make declaration that Christ Jesus saved her marriage, saved her child and saved her life." After Clement's death, Charisma News reported that duriing the first Presidential debate, Clement texted the following to his friends: “Trump is like a bull in a china shop. God revealed to me: 'Yes, and bulls are beautiful and magnificent creatures, and china is fragile.'"
* April 28, 2011, retired firefighter Mark Taylor claims to have written on a piece of paper a prophecy of Donald Trump becoming President. He originally thought this prophecy would come to pass in 2012. When it did not, he claims he have "set it aside," after which the Lord told him, "My people are not ready." These claims were not publicized until 5 years later during a radio interview on TruNews recorded on April 18, 2016. Mark Taylor told Rick Wiles: "The Spirit of God says, 'I have chosen this man, Donald Trump, for such a time as this. For as Benjamin Netanyahu is to Israel, so shall this man be to the United States of America! For I will use this man to bring honor, respect and restoration to America. America will be respected once again as the most powerful and prosperous nation on Earth, other than Israel. The dollar will be the strongest it has ever been in the history of the United States, and will once again be the currency by which all others are judged. The Spirit of God says, the enemy will shake and quake and fear this man I have anointed. They will even quake and shake when he announces that he's running for President. It will be like the shot that's heard all across the world. The enemy will say, 'What shall we do now? This man knows all our tricks and schemes.'"
* January 26, 2015, Steve Cioccolanti's first public defense of Donald Trump against libertarian economist Thomas Sowell's attacks appears to be his earliest indication of a Trump Presidency. In his post he states that he does not believe Hillary Clinton was God's choice, "I have not posted anything about US Elections on Facebook before, but there are 2 reasons I inform you of this video: 1) Truth matters. 2) Freedom matters. Opposing truth and freedom are the mainstream media and establishment politics. Both work 24/7 to control your mind and your money. The closest value system or form of government in this present world to the Biblical ideal is Libertarianism. And a prominent intellectual voice of libertarianism - Thomas Sowell - has departed from logic into personal attacks on Trump. It proves that without God and solid study of God's Word, even the best secular minds can sometimes become foolish....This US election matters to the whole world...This Sunday I will be praying 8 hours."
* April 18, 2016, Steve Cioccolanti's video "The Donald Trump Prophecy". His video was released with this message: "The same day Discover Ministries posted this video about "The Donald", TruNews also posted an audio recording about a prophecy in 2011 that Donald Trump is God's anointed. The Church is divided because it lacks discernment and makes judgments based on personal feelings for a person. But much like Cyrus and Nebuchadnezzar, whom the believers could not believe and could not accept that God would use, Trump is sent by the Lord to expose the corrupt establishment. God will raise up the leader whom He wills. He is not beholden to the Church's earthly opinion... If the Church does not know how to understand the Bible, she will unlikely understand what God is doing in the nations during the end times." Cioccolanti's video cites several examples of how the Bible contains puns and plays on names. He claims the name of "Donald Trump" is prophetic. Trump's nickname "The Donald" means "The Ruler of the World" according to its Scottish/Celtic etymology: "Dumno" (world) + "Val" (ruler) = world ruler. His last name is a play on two words "triump" (victory) and "trump", which is King James English for "trumpet", a word which carries significance in end-time theology. Specifically, Cioccolanti cites 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."
* October 14, 2016, [https://www.morningstarministries.org/biographies/john-boneck#.WN0jchKGM0o John Boneck], one of Rick Joyner’s pastors at [https://www.morningstarministries.org/churches/churches-schools#.WN0knxKGM0o MorningStar Fellowship Church], posted a Facebook video of Jorge Parrott, Morningstar’s missions director, prophesying Donald Trump would become President: “The Lord is sifting you. He’s taking you through this time of humility. But He’s at work and He’s with you. I believe He’s going to anoint you in special ways in the next few weeks to give you a fresh outlook, like fresh revelation from Heaven, from the throne room of God, because of the future that’s at stake is more important than you or Hillary or any of us. It’s the future of our great nation. And the opportunity is there for you to become known in the future as the father of the nation, one of the new fathers of the nation, to really impact generations in the future…”
* October 28, 2016, Kat Kerr, a prophetess said on video: "You're going to see radical change. Over the next year, there's going to be radical change. Trump is going to win. I know God picked him... Even back in March, He had me make video and post it on there saying Trump is going to win... I can tell you God is strange, He doesn't always do the things that we think He's going to do, or the way He's gonna do it, you just need to surrender to what God wants."
