Dominus Vobiscum: Marriage and Family Retreat Centre

Dominus Vobiscum is a retreat centre located in the Laurentians of Quebec, Canada. It runs one-week retreats for couples and families and is operated mostly by volunteers. It was launched in 1998 by Daniel Cere. The retreat centre serves the English-speaking Catholic community.
Dominus Vobiscum occupies the Orelda-Marian camp, founded by Fathers O'Rourke, Elliott, and Dawson in 1930. The site is bordered by Lac Maskinongé and is near St. Gabriel de Brandon. In 1998, the Newman Centre in collaboration with the Foundation of Catholic Community Services launched a major project to rebuild this facility.
The retreat centre was the set for the Canadian film Il Duce canadese. The film recounts the story of an internment camp in Ontario during World War II.
