DJ Tremor

Tremor has been producing Drum & Bass since 1999, was a prime time DJ on one of London's top Hardcore radio stations back in 1993-1995 and has also managed to bag himself a Ministry of sound slot in 1998.
With music all around him as a child Tremor had music in his heart from the age of 12, with the likes of Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs and Phil Collins Massive Hit ‘In the Air Tonight’ was a huge inspiration for him. By the age of 14 he was learning to DJ, by the age of 17 he had bought his first pair of Decks and got practising. Six months later he had managed to grab himself a slot on London’s No 1. Premier radio Station Dream FM.
As well as bagging a prime time slot on Dream FM, he managed to rise up the ranks and play for various radio stations and venues in the mid 90’s, such as Rage FM and Supreme FM, and had produced his own record by the age of 20.
After his record release he was picking up more slots in premier clubs such as Labrynth in London’s East end, Linford Film Studios and The Rocket in Holloway to name a few. He was promptly picked up by Ministry of Sound and played along the likes of Boy George and Paul Oakenfold, Shortly after this he was whisked up by a Russian promotion company and played for Club Bagira and Club Ula in the heart of Russia. With the first success of Russia he was interviewed on Moscow’s Prime radio Station ‘Radio 4 RU’ and Moscow’s very own CL.UB-TV.
After a heavy rise and fall in fame he decided to reinvent himself with a new name and new style and started producing more tracks in the studio with an edge unrivalled by others. In 1999 he produced the dance floor smasher ‘Optiplex’ on Council Recording’s label and has never looked back since.
Since then he’s had signing deals with Coologik Records and Indented Records with tracks such as ‘No Future’, ‘Jump to This’ and ‘Suspects’.
He was contacted by Anything But Monday to attempt to write a Drum and Bass Remix on any of their tracks, 2 weeks later he had managed to write another Drum and Bass dance floor hit with ‘He’s my Bitch’ which was immediately signed by the music giant ‘Universal Music Group’ and become available on iTunes within a month.

A previous review of DJ Tremor by Coologik
“DJ Tremor hailing from DnB's birthplace brings beats and bassline like no other. His catalogue of drum and bass downloads is now available through coologik.com and we are proud to introduce you to this our latest talent in our extensive drum and bass catalogue.
DnB Dj's should take note of just how big this man's sound is and make sure you listen to his catalogue of high class tunes that break sonic barriers wherever you may be.
Twisted beats and massive riffs deliver hooklines that rip the dancefloor apart. With a tune selection ranging from the intelligent dnb or liquid side of DnB right through to congo natty reggae led DnB rhythms DJ Tremor is sure to give you an edge to your mix, and set you apart when performing for the masses.”
