Asad Khalid Naseem (born 2 November 1988), better known by his alias DJ Surge-N (or simply Surge-N), is a Welsh DJ and Music Producer of Pakistani descent and is currently based in Auckland, New Zealand. As of 2010, he has released over 10 major releases, most of which are planned for publication in late 2010. His alias, "DJ Surge-N", is a play on words based on Naseem's original aspiration to become a surgeon. Additionally, the added capitalised 'N' preceded by a dash was used to signify the first letter of his surname. Background Asad Naseem was born in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire to a British Pakistani father and Pakistani mother and raised in the village of Cardiff with his parents and her two younger sisters.
