DJ Griot, is a Haitian-American musician, dj and radio personality. DJ Griot is a radio host for the Miami-based urban music radio station WEDR.
Attending Southern Technical University in Marietta, Georgia is where Griot was given his first break as an on-air personality on the university's station. While in Georgia, Griot began spinning at local clubs and soon began working with producer/rapper Lil John.
DJ Griot also served as tour dj for recording artist Trina, served as A&R representative for Wyclef Jean and local music label Iconz Music with Gorilla Tek as well as host of The Haitian Compas Festival.
