DJ Drops

A DJ Drop is a form of voice imaging used in the music industry. DJ drops originally derived from the phrase "radio sweepers" which are catchy radio voice overs often used for commercials, music, news broadcasts, and films. Since the start of Hip Hop, DJ Drops help control crowd reactions during parties and performances. Male and female DJ Drops are now used as a promotional tool to help brand the DJ. Premade DJ drops are generally used by hobbyists that enjoy using the dj voice to blend music for personal entertainment purposes. These forms of DJ jingles aren’t widely used, due to the lack of customization to the voice overs and dj sound effects associated with them. |
