Dixiepunk

Dixiepunk is a mixture of Traditional American Southern music with the attitude and simplicity of the early Punk Rock of the Ramones, The Clash, and the Sex Pistols. In a way, it's also another word for Cowpunk, but inclusive to other genres like Cajun, Blues, Jazz, Tejano, Rockabilly (mainly Psychobilly or Punkabilly), or Bluegrass, among others. Styles often range from just a person on Guitar (Scott H. Biram), to Full bands (Hank Williams III, Th' Legendary Shack-Shakers).
