Diplomatic League

Diplomatic League (commonly known as D League) is a non-governmental organisation. It is the first and lead organization of undergraduate Diplomacy Student in the Philippines, youth organization and delegation with formal diplomacy degree or universal diplomacy around the world. The Diplomatic League is an advancement institution that aims to empowered every individual and bring out the best in them, and a youth connecting causes, community and commerce through the programs organized by individual members, partners and member institutions, organisation and delegation of Diplomatic League.
History and Background
The Diplomatic League was formally established 08 May 2015 with the signing of the Diplomatic League Declaration with the Department of Foreign Affairs of United Nation and Other International Organization and seven universities offering international affairs, i.e. De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, Lyceum of the Philippine University, Miriam College, Philippine Women's University and University. of Santo Tomas at the Department of Foreign Affairs Grand Ballroom (Bulwagang Apolinario Mabini). It was established with the idea of bringing all the universities and students of international affairs in the Philippines. It was observed that there is no such national organization yet that existed despite the importance of the course and years of presence of degree.
After the founding success the Diplomatic League have soared to success in different aspect, have organized conventional programs for the students of diplomacy, e.g. Model United Nation Academy (Training the students regarding the real United Nation process from official UN agencies not the simulation processes of different institutions organizing Model UNs), Foreign Policy Recommendation (First time that the student of diplomacy made a formal recommendation to the Department of Foreign Affairs regarding the direction of Philippine Foreign Policy), Diplomatic Ball:Latin Night (A social gathering for the students of diplomacy to widen their network and linkage, furthermore five embassies were invited to grace the gathering i.e Panam, Brazil, Venezuela, Columbia,and Mexico). In addition in just one year the Diplomatic League reached national presence for having members from Mindanao, the membership of seven grew to more than 15 observers and official members.
In light to this developments, the Diplomatic League is now adapting a new framework which will make the organization more exclusive, participatory and individual focused. It is opening its membership to individual delegation of twelve (12), and organization regardless of any course or focus as long as they have the passion for diplomacy. It will continue its staunch partnership with its linkages, e.g. different embassies of the Philippines in other countries, United Nation Country Team, United Nation Office of Coordination for Humanitarian Affairs, United Nations Development Programme, United Nation Information Center, Community of Practice for Humanitarian, Department of Foreign Affairs, United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization, National Youth Commission and etc.

Diplomacy.ph is a Department of Foreign Affairs Philippine Embassy in Wellington, New Zealand , is the Philippine anchor initiative and global concept "Universal Diplomacy". Diplomacy.ph aims to advance the art and sciences of diplomacy through harnessing the inner diplomat of each individual.
Structure
The Diplomatic League is divided in several organs, i.e. Secretariat, Executive Council, Regional Council and General Assembly.
The Secretariat function as the main administrative and legislative body of the Diplomatic League,while the Executive Council function as the representation of International Affairs organizations that are member of the Diplomatic League. Regional Council function as the regional participation body of any accredited region of secretariat. Lastly, the General Assembly is the general membership of excellent Volunteer Diplomats in the Diplomatic League
Management
The Diplomatic League is led by the secretariat which stands under the leadership of the Secretary General Mr. Christian Mark A. Cardenas. The Secretary General is directly connected to the management of diplomacy.ph
The Secretariat is compose of (9) nine main position these are the Secretary-General, Deputy Secretary-General, Chief of Staff, Executive Secretary, Secretary of Communication - Correspondence, Secretary of Communication - Public Information, Secretary of Policy, Secretary of Finance, and Secretary of Operation.
