Industry that deals with the findings, production, marketing and distribution of digital narrative content. The difference to the multimedia publishing, based on the conversion of narrative materials on several different digital platform, consists in the trial. In these terms the digital platform as a simple support becomes a new opportunity in which the contents can sink roots and grow into narrative form unique to digital. Digitorial as term was used for the first time by Pierdomenico Baccalario and Mattia Pavesi during the presentation of new digital applications specifically designed for the world of new media within the Digilab at the International Book Fair of Turin in 2012. |
