DigitalRadioTracker.com Inc. has customized a technology that monitors radio airplay detections of songs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Currently, more than 45 million titles are tracked in over 125 countries worldwide. This amazing technology requires no special encoding or fingerprinting. The system's unique database logs every song that is played on all radio stations that DRT currently monitors. A timestamp of the date and time a song is played along with which version of the song is being played is recorded by DRT's system. In the past, the music industry had no clue if other version(s) of their songs were being played as they were undetected and/or never reported by other monitoring companies. DRT has filled this void within the music industry. DRT's system can detect different versions of songs aired on radio. DRT enables artists, publishers, record labels, and the global music industry the ability to access reports and utilize the data analytics in optimizing music trends and assist in the marketing of songs. The data can also be used to assist in the collection of royalties, book shows, set-up interviews, sell merchandise, and increase an artist's fanbase. DigitalRadioTracker.com Inc. specializes in monitoring radio airplay by broadcasters of various genres such as Contemporary Hit Radio/Pop (Top 40), Urban-Hip-Hop-Rap/R&B, Country/Americana, Rock/Alternative, Gospel/Christian/Inspirational, Adult Contemporary, and some Blues/Jazz. History DigitalRadioTracker.com Inc., also known as DRT was founded by Michael Matthews and Tom McGee on August 17, 2011. Michael Matthews had envisioned a new course in working with independent artists, bands, and music entrepreneurs. He contacted his partner and mentor, Tom McGee, and discussed the idea he had conceived about monitoring songs that were playing on Internet Radio Stations. The only radio stations monitored (at that time) were major commercial FM stations. Internet Radio, also known as Digital Streaming Radio was being overlooked. There was no advanced tracking system to monitor songs played by Internet Radio Stations. Aspiring new recording artists, musicians, producers, songwriters, publishers, label executives and the music industry at large had little to no idea what stations or how many times their songs were being played at the Internet Radio level. Michael and Tom, having an extensive background in marketing, promotion, and music distribution knew it would bring added value to the industry. With the advancement of technology, music is now being consumed via smart speakers, smart TVs & refrigerators, and even Internet Radio in cars. They reached out to a family friend who is a software developer to assist in bringing this idea to fruition and DigitalRadioTracker.com was born. Once the proper technology was developed, Michael and Tom formed a strategic team to help expand the company. The team consists of Ricky Anderson, Esq., Wendy Day, Ray Hale, and Metta Sandiford-Artest (Metta World Peace). DRT also offers historical reports which display the history of airplay detections on all our monitored stations during the previous eight-weeks.
