Dhruv Verma (actor)

Dhruv Verma (born 12 September 1997) is an Indian actor, born and brought up in Mumbai.
He will make his acting debut in 2021 with an innocent teen love story, No Means No directed by Vikash Verma, The first Indo-Polish feature film project between the two countries.
Personal life
Dhruv Verma’s father, Mr. Vikash Verma, is a Director and Producer with production house, G-7 Films and the owner of a private security agency.
And Dhruv’s mother, Mrs. Sonali Verma, from Gujrat, comes from a commercial arts background. His sister, Jahnavi studied art in the University of Arts, London. Dhruv completed his schooling in South Mumbai from the Cathedral and John Connon School. In his final years Dhruv read the curriculum of Humanities which included Sociology, Psychology and Economics as well. During school life, he was actively involved in cultural activities such as Drama, Elocution and Debates both in Hindi and English. Dhruv Graduated with a specialization in Business Management and Marketing from HR College of Commerce and Economics. In college too, Dhruv displayed Active Participation in Cultural activities. He was part of the cultural council and participated in Pan India recognisable Cultural Festivals such as Malhar by Xaviers College, Kaleidoscope by Sophia’s college, WAVES by BITS Pilani Goa and many more.
Acting career
Dhruv was actively involved in social work and cultural Activities during his school and college days. He participated in various street plays and drama during his early days. At the age of 24, Dhruv is going to make his acting debut in 2021 with Vikash Verma’s No Means No, The first Indo-Polish feature film project between the two countries. After No Means No, we can watch Dhruv’s next upcoming “The Good Maharaja” in lead role. The movie is in production stage.
Training
Dhruv received training in Krav Maga and Jyrki Sario Defendo and boxing in Poland along with courses in gun shooting. He learned disarming and shooting techniques from Sanjay Dutt. Dhruv received in the usage and technique different handguns, rifles and shotguns. Now he will be training for sniper techniques for his role in the Good Maharaja. Dhruv Verma trained for polo and horse riding under in the Amateur Riders club in Mahalaxmi racecourse. Further training he undertook in the “Akademia Jazdy Konnej Solka” of Poland where he completed the course and was made a member of the Polish Equestrian Federation.
