Dennis Luginbill

Dennis Richard Luginbill (born November 8, 1968) is an American composer. An accomplished trumpeter and clinician, Mr. Luginbill now regularly composes and arranges for jazz ensemble, concert band, and many chamber ensembles. Mr. Luginbill is a teacher at DeLong Middle School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where he teaches Music Education. Dennis resides in Eau Claire with his wife and their four children; Joseph, Annisa, Jenna, and Zachary.
Early life
Luginbill was born on November 8, 1968, in St. Paul, Minnesota but has lived in Eau Claire since childhood.
Conducting and performing
Mr. Luginbill has performed with members of the Minnesota Orchestra, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, and also with The Temptations, Frankie Vallie, Peter Noone, Myron Floren, The Henry Busse Orchestra, the Guy Lombardo Orchestra, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, and the Sammy Kaye Orchestra. Luginbill has been the Principal Trumpet of the Chippewa Valley Symphony and the UW-Eau Claire Jazz 1
