Delta Blind Billy

Delta Blind Billy was an American Delta Blues artist, known for being a blind outlaw. So far only one of his songs has been recovered on a 78 record from the 1920's and the rest of his career remains somewhat ambiguous, due to his run-ins with the law. His name may have something to do with the Billy Blind legend.
The song features the use of slide guitar, which was common among early Delta Blues Artists. The song is also notable for having an early variant of Man of Constant Sorrow in the following lines, "Man of sorrow all my days
Left the home where I been raised." Delta Blind Billy's play on Man of Constant Sorrow suggests he traveled extensively possible through Appalachia.
