Deering and Down

Deering and Down is an indie musical group consisting of Lahna Deering and The Rev Neil Down. The combo originated in Skagway, Alaska with roots in Seattle, Washington. They have released two albums. The Rev Neil Down has also released two other albums independently. The Rev Down's 'When a Wrong Turns Right' features guitar-legend and one-time member of Paul McCartney's Wings - Henry McCullough. This album was the subject of a PRI/Public Radio International feature. Artist/Musician Lamar Sorrento http://www.lamarsorrento.com/ and North Missippi Allstars Rick Steff occasionally perform with the extended band.

The group was originally on the Burn Barrel records imprint with the last album being released on Diamond D Records. At least one song has been used on an independent film soundtrack and their 2001 album Coupe Devilla was a top 10 Album of the Year in Belgium.
